Libby is officially no longer a pre-schooler. She is officially "hot stuff" now. My friend handed us down some dresses the other day, and of course this pink one had to be the graduation gown :) We did have some trouble with the idea that all this pink frilliness had to be covered up with a cap and gown (she only agreed to wear the cap and gown 2 minutes before she was supposed to go on stage for her program, weeping and gnashing of teeth may or may not have been involved) but she pulled through in the clutch and delivered a full graduation program performance :) The school let them pick what color their cap and gown would be (she picked forrest green, I would've guessed pink and been sooo wrong!)
I can't wrap my mind around the fact that both of my kids will be in school next year (YIPPEE!!) or the fact that I am old enough to have a 3rd grader (when did that happen?) and that someday they won't even live in my house anymore (sniff). But for now we are having lots of fun with preschool programs and elementary school field trips, and I can't think of anything else I'd rather be doing.
