The Pinewood Derby

Jacob has been going to Awanas with his friend Pierson - last Tuesday they had their Pinewood Derby race. The kids received a block of wood and wheels, and creative license. Jacob enlisted the help of his Gramps - and has a new car to be proud of. He followed a design called the "cobra" - a race truck of sorts :). He had a great time cutting (or watching Gramps), sanding, painting, and assembling; we had a great time cheering :)
