Here are some pics (not of me!) of the kiddos in the pool - we particularly like Jacob's snorkel mask:) I'll keep you posted on whether I actually sign up for the triathalon - I think I have to in order to participate:). I am excited to try something new, to stretch myself (literally and figuratively) and maybe end up making a great memory (with Josh and Dad - peer pressure!!!). The memory idea is thanks to Donald Miller's (author of Blue Like Jazz and A Million Miles in a Thousand Years) blog. I can am internet challenged and can only get it to come up when I use Caroline's link from her blog mcgladeclan.blogspot.com from her post on Jan 3. You should check it out, and thank you Caroline! Too bad you are so far - I need internet lessons!

And the Training Begins
Well, I think I have convinced myself to sign up for a sprint triathalon (sprint meaning shorter, not necessarily faster in my case). It includes a 500m swim, 16 mile bike ride, and 3 mile run out at Highline Lake. I am hoping my brother will join me in my insanity, and we may talk Dad into it too! I have been getting in the pool (twice now that is) and doing laps during Jacob and Libby's swimming lessons. So far so good - I haven't drown, but I haven't swam 500m w/o stopping - yikes!
