Spring Break Road Trip

The kids and I went on a road trip for Spring break, they are such troopers!   First we drove down to Los Alamos to see my brother, then up to Colorado Springs to see my uncle, then up to Greeley to see my sister before heading home.  It was a lot of windshield time,  but also a lot of hugs, laughs, smiles, and zoo animals.  Zoo animals? Yes, zoo animals. We went to two zoos, and Jacob informed me that he never has to go to another zoo in his life :)

Now on to Colorado Springs to visit Lauren, and a trip to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

Riding the train at the Denver Zoo.  We stood in line for an eternity (in kid time) and almost didn't make it.  I think we only had one meltdown in line (after watching EVERYONE get on but us), but phew! the train ride brought our smiles back out.
