I survived!

The Triathalon was a success! I somehow convinced my cousin Jodi's husband Adam to come to Grand Junction for the event, despite the cold and rain. I think he might be the only spontaneous tri-athlete out there :). We swam in the rain, biked in the rain, and ran in the rain/mud bog. Someone during the run asked if they were filming an episode of the "Wipe Out" TV show. It was great! I felt like a little kid running in the rain and playing in the mud! Matt was the best support crew - he pumped up the bike tires, set up my transition area, photographed, and cheered - all in the rain!
