Bryce Canyon

We just got back from a great couple of days in Bryce Canyon. I had taken the weekend off for the triathalon, and then Matt was able to take this week off, so we headed to southern Utah for Bryce Canyon. We camped in the park, and hiked and hiked. The campgrounds are great, flushing toilets, showers, and a store within walking distance. Our bathroom even had baby robins nesting above the door. We met some great people in the campground with kids Jacob and Libby's ages, who entertained themselves for hours running and digging in the dirt. We got together with them for dinner, wine, campfires, and s'mores - felt pretty great to drink a glass of wine with new friends after a day of dirt :)
Now that we're back home, the laundry is done, and we are all much cleaner (I'm sure the water bill this month is going to be at least double the usual). My alarm will go off at 5:00 tomorrow for work - a rude awakening to be sure, but my bed will be so soft. Good night!
