Washington trip '09

Here are some pics from our trip to see our family up in Washington. We had great weather - the 100 degree record heat wave had passed before we arrived, and it only rained one afternoon while we were there. We did a lot of fun things: we visited the naval undersea museum, we went to the zoo (and went with Claudia, John, and Lucy too), and went to the beach on Bainbridge island. We spent alot of time in the backyard - Granny and Papa made a great firepit where we roasted marshmallow and ate s'mores, had a great waterfight, and the boys (big and little) had a campout in the tent :). Many thanks to Granny and Papa for hosting such a wild week, and for feeding us excellent treats (like the torts made from berries from the "berry boys")!
