Our anniversary

June 26th was our 10 year anniversary! I can't believe it has been 10 years (and 2 kids) already! We went to one of our favorite restaurants, Il Bistro downtown and drank wine (well I did anyway), ordered appetizers, dinner, and dessert - yum! It had been raining all day, and it started spirinkling again as we walked into the restaurant. We didn't have reservations, so we ended up sitting on the covered patio which turned out to be great. A huge downpour started complete with hail! We were protected by the awning, but still got to be outside (I love that during a big storm, makes me remeber how big God is and how small we are). When we got home that evening, a storm drain must have been blocked, because we drove through some rivers :). Our neighborhood park was flooded, so we had to take some pictures to share, as we never have this happen here in the desert.




The next morning - alot of water receded
