Visting Windsor

We went to Tara's for a few days for Tiernan's 1st birthday and what a fun trip! She took us to a dairy, where we ate great ice cream, pet baby animals, and watched the cows being milked. We had a day inside for a March blizzard, but that made for a good snowball fight later up at Ethan's parent's farm. Then we partied like 1 year old rockstars, even if the guest of honor had to take a nap during the festivities :)

Kids say the darnedest things

Libby, at VBS talking about kids against hunger: "Once we were on a trip and my parents didn't stop for 2-3 days so I went 2 or 3 days without eating"
Libby after crashing on her scooter: sob, "I wish I was a mom so I could be tough."
Jacob's 2nd grade teacher: "Jacob, how would you like to grow this year?" (pause) Jacob: " I would like to grow venus fly traps."
Libby: "Mom, please stop singing, it's giving me a headache."
Libby (while looking at our wedding picture): "When did you get married Mom?" Me: "1999". Jacob: "Oh, that's why it's in black and white".
Jacob, after I got home from the salon: "Oh Mom, you forgot to go to your haircut."
Libby, to a sweet lady sitting next to us on an airplane: "Are you allergic to ghosts?"
Libby: " Mom, can you smell the booger I just ate?"
Jacob : "Mom, you know why I like Godzilla so much? Because he's all about nature."
Me : "Libby, what are you doing?" Libby: "I'm putting squirt (hand sanitizer) in my belly button to make it more powerful."
Me: "Good night baby bear." Libby: "Good night grown-up bear."
Jacob:"Mom, can I fly my remote control helicopter outside?" Me: "No. What if you fly it over the fence?" Jacob: "Mom, it's a remote control, I'll just fly it back."
Jacob, as we're driving past an assisted living center: "Grandpa's old, but he can still mow the lawn."
Libby in the shower: "Let's play tag!"
Jacob to Grandma as she is trying to read him a book: "Uh Grandma, I think you're confused, you missed a page."
Libby, to the Grease Monkey guys: "THANK YOU!! (then under her breath) ya pickle-heads!"
Jacob: "Mom, Libby broke my spaceship." Me: "Well, maybe you need to keep your spaceships where Libby can't reach them." Jacob: "Or we could just get rid of Libby."
